Successful candidates for the TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager™ 7 exam can install, configure, and administer TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager™ 7, can moderately extend/customize the TIBCO Collaborative Information Manager™ 7 user interface and workflows, and can define input and output maps required to publish catalogs to a global data source or internal system. Successful candidates for the TIBCO BusinessWorks 5 exam will likely have at least one year of enterprise application integration development experience with solid working knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX, and exposure to message-oriented middleware, Java, and other relevant technologies including XML, XPath, HTTP, and JMS. It is recommended that candidates have six months active experience designing, deploying, and managing a TIBCO BusinessWorks 5 application of average complexity. Average complexity would involve the use of multiple protocols (HTTP, JMS, SOAP, FTP, File, etc.) and one or more processes that map data between endpoints. It would also typically involve communication with two or three different TIBCO Adapter implementations.

TIBCO Certified Professional for TIBCO iProcess™ Modeler 10:

Successful candidates for the TIBCO iProcess Modeler™ 10 exam will likely have at least 6 months of experience working on a project using iProcess Modeler 10. Candidates should be able will be able to develop and test processes of average complexity that effectively translate customer requirements into a logical business process design (excluding any integration with a specific external system) with no assistance. Average complexity would include conditional expressions, dynamic addressing, priority aging, and deadlines; parallel paths, synchronizations, sub-processes (static and dynamic), as well as events. Further, the candidate will be able to update processes of any complexity, although he or she may need to seek assistance for complex process design issues. Finally, the candidate should have an understanding of process management, version control, and the impact of process design on the end-user view.

TIBCO Certified Professional for TIBCO Enterprise Message Service™ 4:

Successful candidates for the TIBCO Enterprise Message Service 4 exam will likely have at least one year of enterprise application integration development experience with solid working knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX, exposure to message-oriented middleware, TCP/IP, SSL, JNDI, the Sun JMS specification, and coding ability in C, C#, or Java. It is recommended that candidates have six months active experience developing and administering a TIBCO Enterprise Message Service messaging solution involving the use and administration of multiple EMS servers (configured for failover and load balancing) and the use of multiple EMS clients (configured to use authorized connections and destinations with appropriate properties). Additionally, successful candidates will have mastered the topics outlined below.

TIBCO Certified Professional for TIBCO Rendezvous® 7

This exam will be retired on July 31, 2008 and replaced by a new TIBCO Rendezvous 8 exam.]: Successful candidates for the TIBCO Rendezvous 7 exam will have general experience with and knowledge of system administration, basic network architecture and network protocols with a basic (reading) knowledge of Java and/or C/C++ programming languages. About Adobe Certifications

An Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) is a person who has demonstrated proficiency with one or more Adobe software products. ACE is a worldwide standard of excellence in Adobe software knowledge. The SAT Reasoning Test is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The SAT is administered by the College Board not-for-profit corporation in the United States and is developed, published, and scored by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). After SAT's introduction in 1901, its name and scoring has changed several times. In 2005, the test was renamed as "SAT Reasoning Test" with possible scores from 600 to 2400 combining test results from three 800-point sections (math, critical reading, and writing), along with other subsections scored separately. Nearly every college in America accepts the SAT or Subject Tests as a part of its admissions process. That's why more than two million students take the SAT every year.

Benefits of a SAT

The SAT provides an alternate to the ACT.
Usually students will score higher on one test than the other.
Colleges of interest can receive your scores and send you information.
A high SAT score will increase the chances of admission in top Business Schools.

SAT Eligibility

SAT is typically taken by high school juniors and seniors. Indian students who has completed their 12 years of school education successfully from any recognized Indian board or university can take SAT for admission in the different streams available in to various American colleges.

SAT Exam Structure

SAT programs in India and across the world are administered through International Representatives of ETS (Educational Testing Services), United States. The programs are offered as two separate tests-

SAT Reasoning Test
SAT Subject Test

SAT Reasoning Test: consists of three major sections. Each section receives a score on the scale of 200–800. Each major section is divided into three parts. There are 10 sub-sections, including an experimental section that may be in any of the three major sections. The experimental section is used to normalize questions for future administrations of the SAT and does not count toward the final score. The test contains 3 hours and 45 minutes of actual timed sections, although most administrations, including orientation, distribution of materials, and completion of the biographical sections, run about 5 hours (15–25 minutes per each section) long.

Mathematics: The Mathematics section of the SAT consists of three scored sections, possibly four if the student's experimental section is a math section. There are two 25-minute sections and one 20-minute section.
Critical Reading: The Critical Reading section of the SAT is made up of three or four sections, with varying types of questions, including sentence completions and questions about short and long reading passages.
Writing: The writing section of the SAT includes multiple choice questions and a brief essay. The multiple choice questions include error identification questions, sentence improvement questions, and paragraph improvement questions.
The essay section, which is always administered as the first section of the test, is 25 minutes long. All essays must be in response to a given prompt. The prompts are broad and often philosophical and are designed to be accessible to students regardless of their educational and social backgrounds. The essay score accounts for roughly 30% of the writing score; the multiple choice component accounts for roughly 70%.

SAT Subject Tests (formerly SAT II: Subject Tests): are designed to measure the applicant’s knowledge and skills in particular subject areas like English, history, mathematics, science and language. The tests do not match any particular textbook or method of instruction. The tests' content evolves to reflect up to date trends in high school curriculum or 10 + 2 school curriculum, but the types of questions vary a bit from year to year.

This strategy is followed to determine whether the pretest questions can be used in future PMI examinations as actual questions. The pretest questions, included in the 200-question examination, are not considered for pass/fail determination. Hence, candidates are evaluated on basis of the remaining 175 questions.

To pass the PMP examination, out of the 175 questions, candidates must correctly answer a minimum of 106 questions. Which means the minimum percentage score to be obtained should be 60.6%.

All of PMI’s credential examinations are administered in English. Examination language aids are available to assist candidates for whom English is a second language. The aids provide a translation of exam questions and answers and are available in 10 languages – Chinese (Simplified), French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, and Spanish.

CNE (Certified Novell Engineer): CNE Certification, which is more advanced than CNA Certification, qualifies an individual to manage network environments and solve company-wide support problems. There are two learning paths for CNE certification i.e. 1)Novell Open Enterprise Server for NetWare 2) NetWare 6
CDE (Certified Directory Engineer): CDE Certification provides a standard level of training in directory services technologies across all platforms.
CNI (Certified Novell Instructor): CNI certification indicates that an individual is qualified to teach authorized Novell Certification courses. To ensure that Novell official curriculum is taught by the best technical trainers in the industry, Novell Training Services has set the following requirements for participating as a CNI: 1) Technical requirement (complete one of the following): NetWare CNE (OES for NetWare or NetWare 6 or Novell CLP (10 or 9). 2) Didactical requirement (complete one of the following): Novell Instructor Performance Evaluation (IPE), CTT+, RHCX or MCT. RHCT & RHCE Exam Preparation

The Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) exams are performance-based evaluations of Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration skills and knowledge. Candidates perform a number of routine system administration tasks and are evaluated on whether they have met specific objective criteria. Performance-based testing means that candidates must perform tasks similar to what they must perform on the job.

RHCE and RHCT are closed-book, with no notes or reference materials permitted other than those distributed with the Red Hat OS on which the exam is taken. Most standardized tests, including most IT certification exams, are closed-book.

Red Hat recommends that persons interesting in preparing for the RHCE and RHCT exams

obtain high quality hands-on training such as is available in the Red Hat courses that are designed to cover the skill areas tested by the exams;
get hands-on, real-world experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems administration;
make sure that the prerequisite networking skills specified in the Prep Guide are obtained before attempting the exams.

Both the RHCE and RHCT test professional-level system administration skills and such skills cannot be obtained through training alone. High quality hands-on training must be accompanied by real-world experience, preferably on the job. Good training can be a vital part of success, but the rest is up to the individual.

About Red Hat Certifications

Red Hat Exam Structure Red Hat Courses Covering These Skills

RH033 Red Hat Linux Essentials covers prerequisite skills, with the exception of TCP/IP fundamentals. The Network Essentials series covers TCP/IP fundamentals
RH133 Red Hat Linux System Administration covers RHCT-level skills.
RH253 Red Hat Linux Networking Services and Security covers RHCE-specific skills in networking services and security. Attendees should attend RH133 first.
Red Hat RHCE Fast Track Course condenses material from RH133 and RH253. Only experienced Linux and UNIX system administrators with background in networking services should attend.

The RHCT exam is a subset of the RHCE exam, and is organized as follows:

Troubleshooting and System Maintenance — 1 hour
Installation and Configuration — 2 hours
In order to earn RHCT, one must successfully complete all the requirements in Troubleshooting and System Maintenance, and must achieve a score of 70 or higher on Installation and Configuration.

For RHCE exams given on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 and higher, the exam is organized as follows:

Troubleshooting and System Maintenance — 2.5 hours
Installation and Configuration — 3.0 hours
In order to earn RHCE, one must successfully complete all the RHCT-level Troubleshooting and System Maintenance requirements, and successfully complete enough additional RHCE items to earn a score of 80 or higher overall on the section.In addition, one must score 70 or higher on the RHCT items of Installation and Configuration, and 70 or higher on the RHCE components of that section.

In order to be certified as a Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) and be able to use the FRM® acronym after your name, the following is required:

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is designed to assess the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is used as the language of communication. IELTS is required for entry to university in the UK and other countries. IELTS is recognised by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. IELTS is accepted by most Australian, British, Canadian and New Zealand academic institutions. American academic institutions are increasingly accepting IELTS for admissions purposes. IELTS is accepted by many professional organisations including the New Zealand Immigration Service, the Australian Department of Immigration and Multicultural Affairs, the Australian Medical Council, the UK General Medical Council and the UK Ministry of Defense, US Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS), The Australian Dental Technicians Board, The Australian Pharmacy Examining Council, The Hong Kong Civil Service Bureau, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Poland etc. More than 700,000 people a year take the test.

About IELTS Exam

IELTS is available in two formats – Academic and General Training. The Academic Reading and Writing Modules assess whether a candidate is ready to study or train in the medium of English at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the results of these Modules. General Training is suitable for candidates who are going to English speaking countries to complete their secondary education, to undertake work experience or training programmes not at degree level, or for immigration purposes to Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Candidates are tested in listening, reading, writing and speaking. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking Modules. There is a choice between Academic and General Training in the Reading and Writing Modules. The tests are designed to cover the full range of ability from non-user to expert user.

The first three modules – Listening, Reading and Writing – must be completed in one day. There is no break between the modules. The Speaking Module may be taken, at the discretion of the test centre, in the period seven days before or after the other modules.

A computerised version of IELTS Listening, Reading and Writing Modules (CBIELTS) is available at selected centres, but all centres will continue to offer paper-based IELTS and candidates will be given the choice of the medium in which they wish to take the test.Based on the Test, each module is reported separately as a Band Score, together with an Overall Band Score reported as a whole band or a half band.

IELTS Test Registration

IELTS management is centrally controlled but the administration of the test takes place in local test centres. This guarantees flexibility and adaptability, and ensures a very rapid turn around from registration to results. Most centres conduct a testing session at least once a month and more often at peak times. Special test sessions can be arranged for particular sponsors or organizations according to the global IELTS test date schedule. Information on the availability of test sessions at centres can be found on the IELTS Web-site

IELTS tests are administered at centres throughout the world – there are currently nearly 300 centres, in over 100 countries. TOEFL: Test of English as a Foreign Language (Newbie)

TOEFL® measures your proficiency in the English language in an academic context. The TOEFL® test is a registered trademark of Educational Testing Service (ETS®) and is administered worldwide. The test was first administered 1964 and has since been taken by millions of students. Most universities and colleges in the US and Canada require you to take the TOEFL test if you want to apply for a place to study there. More than 6,000 colleges, universities, and licensing agencies in 110 countries accept TOEFL scores.

TOEFL for Whom
You may need to sit the TOEFL test if your native language is not English and

you are applying to study at a university in the US
you are applying to be a teaching assistant as part of your (post) graduate programme at a US university
you are applying for a license to work as a doctor or nurse in the US
you are applying for university entrance or professional licensure in New Zealand

However, many US institutions do not require you to sit the TOEFL test if

you hold a degree or diploma from a postsecondary institution in an English-speaking country
you have successfully completed at least a two-year course of study in which English was the language of instruction

Please check admissions criteria of the institution(s) you intend applying for in order to etermine whether you need to take the test.

About TOEFL Test
Internet Based (iBT): Since its introduction in late 2005, the Internet-based test (iBT) has progressively replaced both the computer-based (CBT) and paper-based (PBT) tests. The iBT has been introduced in phases, with the United States, Canada, France, Germany, and Italy in 2005 and the rest of the world in 2006, with test centers added regularly

Computer-based Test (CBT): In most countries the TOEFL is a computer-based test (CBT), this means you have to follow instructions on a screen and answer questions interactively.
Paper-based Test (PBT): In areas where the iBT and CBT are not available, a paper-based test (PBT) is given. The PBT tests essentially the same skills as the CBT, albeit with some differences, noticeably the number of questions (which is higher in the PBT) and the score scales.
TOEFL Registration
The TOEFL test is given on set dates throughout the year, although not every test centre offers the test on every test date. For the most current information regarding test centers and dates, visit the TOEFL iBT online registration system on the ETS website.

You can register online at the ETS website, by phone or by mail. Registration forms cannot be faxed.Online and phone registrations require a valid credit card. Early registration closes seven days prior to the test date (not including the day of the test). Late registration (which incurs an additional late fee of US$25) closes three days prior to the test date (not including the day of the test).

To register by mail you need to obtain the TOEFL Information and Registration Bulletin for Internet-based Testing (iBT), which you can download from the ETS website or contact in INDIA. The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized test for applicants who are planning to do an MBA or a PhD in Business Management or a Masters program in Finance, Human Resources etc. from a business school in US, Europe or Canada. The Educational Testing Service (ETS) under the sponsorship of Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) publishes GMAT. In India Prometric administers the test. GMAT Eligibility The US Universities require 16years education for admission to graduate studies. However if you have more than 3 years of work experience some universities may waive the 16th year requirement. GRE is directed by the Education Testing Service (ETS) on behalf of the Graduate Record Examinations Board and the Council of Graduate Schools for admission into all graduate academic programs (except management) in universities across USA and Canada and some selected universities across the world including India.

There are two exams of the GRE

GRE Exam – General: consists of three sections i.e. Verbal, Quantitative, and Analytical writing section
GRE Exam - Subject

There are two versions of GRE Exam:

Paper Based GRE EXAM
Computer Based GRE EXAM

The student is given the choice of taking GRE Exam on paper or on the computer. This section helps to determine the students writing and analyzing skills. There are two parts in this section that needs to be answered by the student. The first part has to be finished in 45 minute time limit. The student has to write an essay on the issue of a give topic. The second part deals with analysis of an argument and needs to be completed within 30 minutes. Of the 3 sections the writing test is the first to be taken.

GRE CAT

In March 1992 the Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) format of GRE was introduced to students. The GRE CAT superiority lies in its ability to asses the students level of intellect and present questions accordingly. The question paper pattern of the paper based test has been retained. The only differences between the paper based GRE and GRE CAT are In GRE CAT the questions are answered on a computer instead of paper and the questioner differs from person to person depending on their intellect.

The advantage in the CAT format of GRE is that, instead of all the students answering to the same set of questions, the GRE CAT test adapts itself according to the performance leave of the student. Since the first few questions play a crucial role in the progress of the test level, the students have to be more careful at the beginning of the GRE CAT test. Remember answering the first 10 questions correctly in GRE CAT will take you closer to a Score of 800 even if you answer the remaining questions wrongly. First 10 wrong and subsequent questions correct will not fetch you much of a score. Keep this in mind and spend more time and effort in answering the first 10 questions of GRE sections correctly.

GRE Exam Registration GRE Test is administered throughout the year. The student is allowed to take the GRE Exam only once in a month and a total of 5 times in one year period. The official GRE Scores are sent to the student and to the institutions to which the student would be applying within 10 to 15 days after the GRE Exam. The student can register for the GRE Exam online in the http://www.gre.org/ web site.

GRE Test Dates

There is no specific GRE test date. A test taker can choose his GRE test date and time in a nearby centre. The GRE test is conducted in almost all major cities around the globe from Monday to Friday two times a day. The problem associated with GRE test date is that during September to December most of the test takers tend to give their GRE test and most of the test takers will choose a day between September and December as their GRE test date. The GRE test dates between September and December will fill up very quickly and so many test takers will be forced to choose a test centre far away from their location to get a desired GRE exam date during this period. Testing Centers

Test and take GRE Test in the appropriate GRE Test center of his choice. The Graduate Record Examination Board, a non-profit association of graduate business schools, directs the Educational Testing Service (ETS) to administer the GRE test. The questions are set and overseen by the ETS. The GRE Score is sent to the candidate directly by the GRE.

GRE Exam Cost Generally to register for the GRE test within US and U.S. territories and Puerto Rico amounts to 115 dollars for General test and 130 dollars for Subject test. The registration fee of 140 dollars for General test and 150 dollars for Subject test which amounts to about 7000 rupees has to be paid by the Indian student who wishes to take the test. Students from China, inclusive of Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan, need to pay 175 U.S. dollars as GRE registration fee. The student who wish to reschedule their GRE test is required to pay a 40 dollar reschedule fee. Any additional score report would require 15 dollars as payment for per sheet. The refund on cancellation would amount to 60 dollars and is valid only if the cancellation is made at least 7 days before the chosen test date. Apart from the course pattern, another change in the GRE exams is in its examination fee, which shot up from $130 to $ 170 this year. While the fees for international students had increased from $115 to $ 130 last year itself, experts think it may go up even further.
